Travel Buildings (If you want it) etc is a densely installed drawing exhibition of buildings visited on the artist’s journeys over recent years. Journeys to and from Darwin, Hill End, Ethiopia, Jogjakarta, Mali, Paris, New York, Philadelphia, Blue Mountains, San Francisco, Sydney...

Buildings as the chosen subject matter allow artistic pursuits to be condensed into a singular vernacular.

The drawings acknowledge that architecture gains responses when moving through it rather than from a two- dimensional view. Drawing allows for psychological elements and the figurative to be coaxed into the buildings. The images float in space, are heated, still and reserved; iconic in pictorial quality.
